Kuwait City is a small but modern city with a good infrastructure. The city's landmark buildings, the Kuwait Towers, were designed by a Swedish architectural firm and opened in 1979. The largest of the three towers rises to a height of 187 metres, and the upper globe houses a two-level observation deck, which gives panoramic views over the city.
The best time to visit Kuwait is October through to May, when temperatures range between 14°C and the low to mid 40s°C (104-113°F). Kuwait has low levels of humidity.
