The Beach Wedding is a beautiful ceremony where the couple walks down an avenue of swirling banners and renew their vows on the white sands of the beach next to the crystal-clear lagoon.
Couples who choose the Beach Wedding also receive two colourful Maldivian sarongs in remembrance of the occasion. The bride is carried to the wedding in a hammock, accompanied by the beating of traditional Maldivian drums. After the ceremony, the couple cut the cake and are then showered with confetti and rice as they set sail for the Sunset Cruise and their first journey together as husband and wife.
